I stayed there last time I went to the Renaissance Festival. Very nice room and convenient location. The beds are firm. I didn't much like standing outside as I checked in since it was cold. The fellow inside was quick so it was not too terrible. I would stay there again.
My wife and I stayed here to get away from stress for the weekend. The outside is a bit sketchy looking, but don't judge a book by its cover. This hotel was perfect for me as a traveler with a tight budget. The room was great! Free cable and free wi-fi; what more can you ask for? The bed was a bit stiff, but I wasn't expecting anything luxurious for the amount of money I spent. If anything, It was a place to lie my head down. The staff were super friendly and even let us check into our room early. I would definitely consider Magnolia Inn & Suites for future getaways.
Very nice first impression...opened door and room has a very pleasant clean smell...newly remodeled..beds are comfortable... bedding newer ..the air conditioner was on and Temp was perfect ..my absolute only complaint is the pillows are flat... kicking myself for not bringing my own!...also lots of cable channels! Very Happy...and this place deserves more stars than the 3.6!
Owner was very friendly. I arrived early because of a cancelled meeting and the owner opened the pool for me and expedited getting my room ready. The room was clean, recently updated including a nice large television, and contained all the amenities a business traveler needs. Will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
I rate this establishment with five stars given the category of hotel that it is compared to the value, cleanliness, and helpfulness of staff. Perhaps I should not have set my expectations low, but I admit that I had not planned on being as impressed as I was. I visited not long ago and was absolutely blown away by the cleanliness of the room. I looked for spots once I saw how clean it was, but none could be found. Don’t let the outside or anything else fool you, the rooms are very clean, updated, and very comfortable. The staff was extremely kind and very helpful. It is obvious that they take extreme pride in their hotel and truly care about guest experience. This may not be a five star resort, but it is apparent that the pride taken in the room appearance and cleanliness is on par with some of the best.
Nice little hotel, staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfy; and have a fridge & microwave. They do have a jacuzzi room but it books out fast. Centrally located, lots within walking distance. Rates do go way up on weekends during faire, which is understandable. Breakfast is waffles, fruit, cereal & yogurt, but the Magnolia Diner is right across, a 2 minute walk. It is no smoking in rooms, and no animals allowed, which is fine by us. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.
This motel is definitely underestimated! The family that manages it (possibly owns it? I didn't ask) are sweet, helpful and accommodating. Overall the place is very clean and well kept. Not super flashy/modern but it actually looks like they put in effort to maintain it. Highlight was the free shuttle to RenFest but I was pleased to find the motel was actually a nice place to stay!
The room is very nicely done ans spacious,but the age is clear. Bed was very firm and the pillows were a bit thin but overall comfortable. We stayed for 3 days. The pool was very refreshing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again
This was the first time staying at Magnolia Inn & Suites. Our family typically stayed in Conroe at one of the fancier resorts. I have to say, for being a motel, this place was really nice. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I think the room rates were a little high for this type of facility but considering that it was only 6 miles to the Renaissance Festival I can understand the increase. I didn't take the opportunity to use the shuttle service but understood that it was available at all hours so that would have been great had I not decided to drive. We will definitely be staying here again.
